Well, I've been free of vertigo since I started the position changes on a daily basis. Yay! I unfortunately have developed a bit of strep. Therefore, I am now on huge pills of Augmenten twice a day.

Other than being sick this summer has been going well. Work is alright, nothing too exciting, but it's still fun. I start classes next week, that should be interesting. Human Anatomy and Physiology is from 8am until 3:30 pm Monday and Wednesday. It will be long, but hopefully I'll remember a lot from my comparative anatomy and physiology classes.

Day in and day out

Well, I don't have any conclusive results from the ENG as of yet. It might be a condition in which calcium deposits form in the inner ear, and as they settle in different ways they trigger vertigo. So, in order to help rule that out/take care of that I am upping how much water I drink each day and doing positional changes three times a day to force my brain/body to adjust to its new normal.

Work has been alright, I just hang out at a big kids arcade for hours at a time so it's not too bad. I am still hoping for the position with a PT, I'll call about it tomorrow. I'm trying to keep busy, for busy makes the time go fast and keeps my days from becoming boring.

The missionaries in our district have adopted my mom's family. They stop by a few times each week to chat, help out in the garden, or have dinner. They're a sweet pair of guys. I'm still not used to the fact that they're all younger than I am.

June begins!

So, I have an ENG scheduled for Friday to try to figure out why I've had a bit of vertigo for the past three months. This test is supposed to figure out if it's an inner ear, circulatory, or neural problem. Here's to hoping that it actually figures something out. I'm not looking ofrward to it too much because it is supposed to make me dizzy, and it lasts an hour and a half. Oh well, if I can get rid of the vertigo I guess that it's worth it.

I'm still trying to get off of work on Saturday night so that I can go to the Jonathan Coulton concert with my sister and Matt. It would be so much fun. I hope that I can talk them into letting me go early at least.

Oh, I joined an online blog community that challenges posters to take and upload one photo every day. I think that it will be fun. I'm trying to develop as an amature photographer, so this should be a good challenge for me.

A bientot!

Ola!

So, I'm pretty bad at this whole blog thing. I'll probably post infrequently, and it wil most likely be jumbled, but for those of you who know me, it will fit right in with my usual self.

I'm currently in summer mode and therefore working at Dave & Buster's (the adult version of Chuck-E-Cheese's). I'll be starting a few classes in about a month. Before classes start I'll put in the rest of my application for a volunteer position in a PT office, since PT schools mandate previous experience in the field it has all become volunteer work.

The gardens have been planted, so hopefully there will be produce before too long. I'll be working this weekend, so no dancing is in the schedule. I sent out an email to the tango group in Pittsburgh asking for a listing of local events, so hopefully I'll find out something before too long, for I've missed ballroom dancing since I've been off of campus.
